Wow... just watched some of this (my first time really seeing Novak in ACTION!). Man, what a killer drummer... I hear a lot of Vinnie in his approach. Kinda reminded me of Steve HOD Holmes too with some of those licks. SPEAKING OF:

There's a sick lick he pulls out at 26:44 into the DVD, there's a close up on the hi hats then it goes to Allan and then HOT LICK! Sounds like doubles... WHAT IS THIS!? He also plays a variation of it around 27:10.

Any ideas? Vdrummer? Steve? Anyone?

I'm not even going to ask about all the other cool shit I heard! lol

My synopsis on this DVD was that it lacked musicianship and that Gary Novak was way more in the pocket with Alanis Morissette...
